Boulevard Media is a digital magazine for locals and visitors located in the Tidewater region of Virginia. The regional magazine is a guide that focuses on promoting economic development, tourism and fostering a sense of community in Virginia Beach.
Michaela interned from January to June 2024 as a lead writer and editor for Boulevard Media. As an intern, she produced and published news, profile and feature stories for various issues and proofread all content for adherence to AP Stylebook format. Throughout this internship, Michaela gained skills in WordPress and Issuu, leveraging her web design skills and digital marketing strategies to maximize digital audience viewership.
